The event ‘Startup Day 2018’ will take place on August 24 – 25, 2018 at Riverside Palace in District 4, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
This free event is jointly held by the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC), the HCMC Department of Science and Technology, and the HCMC Young Businesspeople Association.
According to the organization board, there have been more than 200 startup models registering to display their products or marketing themselves in this upcoming event.
‘Startup Day 2018’ is expected to offer opportunities for over 60 startup projects to attract investment via presentation in front of CEOs of giant domestic as well as international enterprises.
In the framework of the event, there will be the final round of the contest ‘Vietnam Startup Wheel 2018’. The 10 most excellent startup projects will compete for various prizes worth nearly VND2 billion (approx. $85,910).
In addition, the trading and startup investment floor Startup Exchange is predicted to attract much attention from participants in this event. Forecasts reveal that the total amount of investment and trading or supporting money will reach over VND37 billion ($1.59 million).
